Customizing Review Processes

The goal of any application process is to find the most deserving applicant. How your organization goes about that, on the other hand, is likely completely different than any other organization. There may be similar structures and similar goals, but internally things vary.

In a recent study of our client, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), we noted a complex review process.

PG&E has nine Employee Resource Groups (ERG) that last year provided 200 scholarships ranging from $1,000-$10,000. Each of those resource groups has the same application with the ability to apply for as many scholarships as applicable.

While the application is the same, each resource group has a different review process. Each organization differs on the number of reviewers, cycles, and has a different scoring system to review each application. With Orchestrate, PG&E is able to retain each ERG’s unique review process and keep the applications organized at the same time.
